Directions from Tucson:*Take I-19 toward Nogales. Turn west off Interstate 19 at the Peña Blanca/Ruby Road, AZ Highway 289, Exit 12.
*Follow the road approximately 9 miles west and turn left on to the Forest Road 39 at the Upper White Rock Campground.
*Continue approximately 5 miles west to where the trailhead is marked by a parking area turnout on the south side of the road. There is a lone oak tree at the turnout. The trailhead (100) is across the road (North). This is easy to miss, so watch closely.
